What an Admitted Student Should Bring to School
1. Food/Drink
A student requires a healthy snack and a drink which should be packed in a zipped lunch bag. We do not allow chewing gum, sweets, or nuts and strongly don’t recommend crisps and fizzy drinks. Rather, we encourage you to bring healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables. All students should have a personal water bottle which can be refilled during breaks. Agape Academy International provides a cooked daily lunch daily at a prepaid fee. Alternatively, students a permitted to bring a packed lunch.
2. Personal Belongings
We do not allow personal belongings such as toys, books, hair accessories, etc. Please do not send your child to school with beads in their hair because they are a choking hazard. Our students DO NOT purchase items at school. We therefore ask you not to send money to school with your child (Items that may need to be purchased directly from the school’s administration such as a new shirt/sports kits, could be prepaid with mobile money).
3. Academic Materials
Agape Academy International provides textbooks, reading books, library books and workbooks. Please ensure that your child treats these with utmost care. From Grade 1 and above, please provide your child with at least five exercise books (ruled), pencils, crayons, pens (Grade 4 and above), erasers, and sharpeners.
4. Electronic Equipment
Electronic devices such as Cell phones, iPods, iPads, laptops, electronic readers/books, CD players, digital cameras and hand-held electronic games are not permitted in class unless directed by the academic instructor.
*Students will be charged for lost or damaged school equipment and books.
